Stauff — clamps, gauges and the parts around them.
Walter Stauffenberg GmbH & Co. KG has been building hydraulic hardware in Werdohl, Germany since the 1950s. We stock the parts our customers actually reorder: clamps to DIN 3015, test and quick release couplings, pressure and level gauges, and filler breathers.
What we stock from Stauff
Six lines, across clamping, measurement and reservoir accessories.
Stauff clamps
Clamps to DIN 3015 that grip tube, pipe and hose and hold the run steady, cutting shock and vibration.
Standard series 6–102 mm, heavy 6–406 mm, twin 6–42 mm.
Series, bodies and accessories →ACT anti‑corrosion clamps
Anti-Corrosion Technology — the Stauff clamp geometry to DIN 3015, with accessories in stainless steel W55.
Corrosion resistance is raised by excluding metallic and non‑metallic impurities through production, processing and handling.
Where W55 is worth it →Quick release couplings
Connect and disconnect a line without draining it — for test rigs, attachments and anything swapped often.
Quick release couplings →Test couplings
A permanent test point, designed into the circuit at the machine design stage — or retrofitted when a system is upgraded.
Lets a gauge go on and come off without breaking the line.
Test couplings →Pressure gauges
Made to EN 837‑1, for fluid and gaseous media compatible with copper‑based alloys.
Analogue for permanent installation and general hydraulics; digital where you need a readable number.
Ranges and connections →Level gauges & filler breathers
Level gauges — housing, scale plate, sight tubes with sealing, and plugs — give a readable fluid level on a large reservoir.
Filler breathers (SPB, SMBT, SMBB and others) let the tank breathe as it heats and cools, without letting contamination in.
Reservoir accessories →Specifying a clamp
The body decides the environment; the accessories decide how it mounts.
Body material
- PP — polypropylene · the standard body for general hydraulic work.
- PA — polyamide · tougher, and takes more heat than PP.
- AL — aluminium · where the line runs hot.
- RI — polypropylene with rubber insert · for gentle clamping, and to damp vibration and noise.
All four resist corrosion well, which is what keeps a clamp serviceable in a wash‑down or coastal environment.
Accessories and mounting
Accessory hardware is stainless steel SS316 as standard, or W55 on the ACT range.
- Standard parts — top plate, base weld plate.
- Also available — double top plate, double base plate, stacking bolt, safety locking plate, mounting rail, hexagon rail nut, group weld plate, channel rail adaptor, elongated base plate.
Stacking bolts and group weld plates are what let you build a tidy multi‑line run off one plate instead of welding a plate per clamp.
Stauff has been at this since the 1950s, and the range runs to roughly 40,000 product standards across ten categories — so the awkward size or the odd accessory usually exists.
Tubeclo or Stauff?
Both are clamps to DIN 3015 in the same series and the same size ranges, so they are dimensionally interchangeable on the plate — same weld plate, same bolt pattern, same tube OD.
- Tubeclo is our own line, and usually what we recommend. We hold it in stock here and dispatch same or next working day from Kuala Lumpur or Johor Bahru, we test it on our own equipment, and the specification stays the same across repeat orders.
- Stauff when the specification names it by brand, when you need an accessory only its catalogue carries, or when you want ACT W55 corrosion protection.
- Not sure? Send the tube OD, the series and the environment — we will quote both, and say where the Tubeclo equivalent saves you time.
