Eaton — Walterscheid tube fittings and the Walform system.
Through Eaton Walterscheid we stock metric hydraulic tube fittings to DIN 2353, the Walform cold‑forming system that replaces a cutting ring with a formed tube end, and the seals and assembly machines that go with it.
What we stock from Eaton
Walterscheid tube connection, and what supports it.
Walterscheid tube fittings
Metric hydraulic tube fittings to DIN 2353 — the European standard most machine builders design to.
Compression fittings →Walform system
Cold‑forms a bead onto the tube end instead of biting into it with a cutting ring — fewer leak paths, and the joint can be remade.
Tube, machines and matching seals.
Walform tube and machines →Anti-Bloc Fett grease
The assembly grease for Walterscheid connections — it stops threads seizing as a fitting is torqued up, so the joint can be undone later.
Anti-Bloc Fett →Why Walform instead of a cutting ring
- A cutting ring seals by biting into the tube wall. Walform seals against a bead cold‑formed into the tube itself.
- That means no cut into the tube, and a joint that can be broken and remade without replacing the ring.
- It needs a Walform machine to form the end — which is why we stock the machines, not just the fittings.
If you are building a lot of tube assemblies in‑house, the machine usually pays for itself in rework you no longer do.
A note on scale
Eaton began in 1911, when Joseph Eaton backed the first gear‑driven truck axle. It is now a power management company of roughly 97,000 people doing business in more than 175 countries.
For you that means one thing in practice: a DIN 2353 fitting bought today will still be available in five years. On a machine you have to support, that matters more than the price of the fitting.
