Threaded fittings and camlock, 1/8" to 4".

Class 150 threaded fittings in SS316 and camlock couplings in stainless, aluminium and brass — to ASME/ANSI B16.22 and EN 14420‑7. Threaded ends mean you can break and remake a joint on site with no welding.

The two lines we stock

Size, material, working pressure and end connection on both cards.

Camlock is the one to use when the joint gets broken often. Two cam arms and no tools, so a hose can be swapped in seconds — which is why it is standard on tanker discharge, transfer hoses and washdown lines. Class 150 threaded fittings are for the permanent pipework those hoses connect to.

Getting the specification right

Which line suits the joint, and the four things we need in order to quote it.

Choosing between them

  • Class 150 fittings — SS316 elbows, tees, sockets, unions and the rest, threaded NPT or BSPT to 150 PSI. For fixed pipework you assemble once.
  • Camlock couplings — to 250 PSI, and the higher‑rated of the two. For anything that gets connected and disconnected in service.
  • Camlock material — SS316 for corrosive or hygienic duty, aluminium where weight matters on a hose end, brass for general water and air.
  • Thread form matters — NPT and BSPT are not interchangeable. If you are adding to an existing run, match what is already there.

What to send us

Four things and we can quote without going back and forth:

  • Size — nominal thread or hose size.
  • Fitting type — elbow, tee, socket, union, or the camlock coupler type (A, B, C, D, E, F or DP).
  • Material — SS316, aluminium or brass.
  • Thread form — NPT or BSPT; and for camlock, whether you need a hose shank instead.

Send the whole schedule rather than one line at a time — fittings are almost always priced better as a set.

Catalogues

Three low pressure fitting catalogues from AF Hydro — including push‑in fittings, which are not on the cards above. Direct PDF downloads, no form.

What is in them

  • Dimensions — thread size, hex, overall length and weight, per size.
  • Ratings — working pressure by size and by material.
  • Thread forms — NPT and BSPT, and which sizes each is available in.
  • The full fitting range — elbows, tees, sockets, unions, nipples, plugs, caps and bushes, with part numbers.

Before you download

  • They open in a new tab. Nothing is gated: no form, no sign‑up, no email address.
  • Dimensions and ratings are in the catalogue; stock and price are not. Send us the list and we will confirm both.
  • Fittings are usually ordered as a schedule rather than one at a time — send the whole list and we will price it as one.
